Here are a few great examples of online community taking place across our dioceses.
This month we want to celebrate the creative communities that are taking place online since the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis.
One great example of this is the CCC Facebook Group (standing for Christ, Covid, Community). It’s a public group that anyone can join. You can check it out here. It started on 12 March 2020 as a forum for prayer and spirituality and now has over 660 members. It’s a great source of Scriptural encouragement and support, and a safe space to reflect on the current world events. We very much recommend it!
Other examples of online community include the sharing of pictures and resources using the hashtag: #godwhospeaks. When this is added to the description in posts on social media platforms then all of these posts are grouped together under this hashtag (your account needs to be set to public for this to work). It’s great to see so much Scriptural activity going on in one place – from schools, dioceses and individuals sharing:
