Monday Celebrations of the Word

Celebrations of the Word for Primary Schools throughout the year.

Use these Monday Liturgies throughout the year by Liturgist and former primary school teacher, Maria Hall.
They are designed so that pupils can prepare and lead them independently.

Key Features:
The text is written in three fonts (plain, italic, bold).
Simply assign a font to each of three pupils and they should be able to follow them easily.
Each Celebration of the Word includes Scripture, prayers of the Church, responses, and moments of silence.
The parts indicated in colour are for everyone to join in.
There’s a place for the pupils to include their own weekly prayer intention.
You can insert your own hymns and songs at the beginning and end.
You can insert your school prayer at the end.
Other pupils can be involved with creating the sacred space, welcoming and playing background music both before and after.
Please be creative and adapt to meet the needs of your pupils.
