The Way of Light is a Christian devotion focusing on fourteen episodes in the Scriptures from the resurrection of Jesus Christ to subsequent events between Easter and Pentecost.

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13.
‘The Way of Light’ also known as the ‘Stations of the Resurrection’ and the Via Lucis is a Christian devotional practice that mirrors the Stations of the Cross (the Via Crucis). The format is flexible but always focuses on fourteen episodes in the Scriptures that record the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the witnesses to this miracle and subsequent events between Easter and Pentecost.
After the darkness of the Cross comes the light of new life in Christ. So we hear of some extraordinary encounters with women such as Mary Magdalene; the transformation of Thomas; the breaking of bread with two disciples at Emmaus; the commissioning of Peter to lead the Church; Jesus’ Ascension into heaven and the coming of the Holy Spirit. These events witness to the light of redemption, bringing light into our faith and world today.
